About Joyce
Joyce and her husband Derek met while attending Appalachian State University and have been navigating life—and design—side by side ever since. Joyce's husband's career took them to many corners of the country, including North Carolina, Virginia, Michigan, Ohio, New York, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Tennessee, Texas, and Pennsylvania. Each move brought new experiences and design inspiration, reinforcing Joyce’s passion for creating beautiful, livable spaces that feel like home.
In 2018, they chose to settle in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, where their daughter Lauren was already living. The island’s coastal charm, creative community, and vibrant design scene made it the perfect place to launch EnJoy Designs, LLC.
Joyce holds interior design credentials from the Metropolitan Institute of Design and The New York Institute of Art and Design. She is a RIDQC Certified Residential Interior Designer, a member of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA), and a member of the Designer Society of America (DSA).
